House of David Nine Feature of Denver Tourney.MWgDENVER Aug 11,—Of)—A ferocious batting attack in the last half of the ninth inning salvaged aix runs for the House of David team today, enough to enable them to beat the United Fuel of Denver, 14 to 13,It was the weirdest game of the current baseball tournament, stagedbv the Denver Post.By way of contrast, low-scoring baseball was served up in the first game. in which the Eason Oilers of Enid, Okla., defeated the Los Angeles M Ac O. team, 4 to 3, Both losers were erased from the tourney.The House of David team, unbeaten in the tourney so far, received a thorough scare from the scrappy Denverites, who tallied seven runs in the fourth inning to take a large lead. 'I’hey appeared to have the game safely in hand until thehihsute warriors' when on their final hitting aprce.The four surviving teams will come come to grips tomorrow in semifinal contests, the Enid team clashing with f i Kansas City, Mo., Monarch* at 1 p, m„ and the House of David meeting the Humble Oilers of j Overton, Tex., at 3 p. m.The winners will play for the championship Monday night.
