MTiltThe Fergus Falls V.F.W foam foil behind Alexandria. 3-0, in the opening inning, then came on to a big seven run sixth inning to win 11 4 at Fergus Falls Wednesday iAlexandria got off to a quick 3 run lead in the top of the first on three singles and an error.Fergus Falls came back in the bottom of the first with two runs. Danny Loomer and Bob Warn walked. David Olson sacrificed to advance the runners and Mike Nelson singled to score the runs.Fergus tallied once in the fourth to tie the game at 3 all on a walk to Danny ^oomer whothen stole second and scored on Steve LeGrand's line single.The visitors went ahead in the top of the fifth* on a single, astolen base and another single. Fergus tied it in the bottom of ihe fifth as John Hopper walked, stole second and scored as Dan Larson singled.In the sixth inning the V.F.W nine broke the game wide open as they scored seven times with Bol) Blegstad and John Hopper walking. Dan Larson doubling to score both runners, then scored himself as Danny Loomer got life on an error. Warn walked. Olson walked.
