ALL-STARS SHOW UP WELL IN GAME WUH BEACH GIRLSThe Huntingdon All-Stare playing before a crowd estimated at 600, displayed a new brand of ball in downing the Miami Beach Bloomer Girls, 6-to-2, in a fast and interesting game*Everyone of the All-Stars was on his toes every minute of the game. The All-Stars used about two line-ups against the girls. The visiting team should be commended on the good game they put up; many fans were surprised 1 at the way they played. The fielding of DeBona, on second base, was outstanding.The girls played heads-up base-1 ball the whole way through, and . the All-Stars found that they were no push-overs* The girls wer$ fast on the bases, and good runners. Byers, the first girl to face Hoover in the second inning, hit a nice 2-base hit. She was sacrificed to third and went home on a fielderchoice. The first girl up in the last inning got on on an error, stole second and then scored on 2 sacrifice flies*The girls were well pleased with the game and want to schedule Huntingdon teams in years to come.The National Plate Glass nine of Altoona will meet the All-Stars on the P* K. R. field Wednesday, August 16. The big game of the year will be played against the House of David team on August 17, This is a game. Admission will be 55 cents.
