They play real baseball, as many teams have found • out. 1Two “hot” coloi'ed teams, the Monroe Louisiana Monarchs, and the Memphis Tennessee Red Sox, will be ^ hard to stop. Rex Stacker's flashy Sioux Falls Canaries are again en- j tered, and Kansas City is sending, that crack semi-pro outfit, the Terminal Taxis.The Pragcr Beers of Dos Moines are coming, having won the eham-1 pionship of the state-wide Iowa semi-pro tourney at Des Moines. Dakota City's fast ball club wants in, and so does the Oakland, Neb., winners of 15 straight games, and still going: strong as this is written, The Coun-, cil Bluffs Chevrolets, last year’s champions, will build soon for the 11934 tournament. |j The Junior Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the tournament this year, and sparing no effort to present a “star” doubleheader every day during.the 11 clays of the meet,There will be 10 Class B teams, mainly from representative southwest Iowa and eastern Nebraska towns.Doubleheader every day, starting Aug, 24, until the tournament ends on Labor day.Admission this year will be forty cents, with season tickets good for the entire tournament, selling for $2.50,
