Morris was too much for the visitofs, they making but seven hits, two of them being “punk” hits. Muilane on the other baud suffered quite severely at the hands of our boys, Fields and Carroll taking thehonor at the bat in the order named. The support ofMuilane by McGuire was weak and no doubt interfered with his effectiveness. McGuire has been overworked, however, and is deserving of much credit for hit nerve and pluck. The game of to-day was a postponed garue from the first series because of one of those games having falieu on Sunday. The score Jsappended in detail;81COLUMBUS. R tB FO A *1 TOLRPO.
