Reorganized Club at Hampton Will Play Cuba TeamfCourier Service)Hampton, la.—The Hampton Pirates, al2-saJaried . team which last year played in iour -states and 32 Iowa cities and towns, will meet the Cuba All-stars Wednesday at 8:30 p. m. on the. Pirates home grounds under the 132,000 watt lighting system. The Pirates defeated the All-Stars in semi-finals of the state tournament at Council Bluffs last year.The Pirates have been reorganized for remainder of this season, according ‘to J. Clinton Marschall, manager. Hampton has had an organized semi-pro outfit for the last 13 years. At the 1932 tournament, the team won runnerup honors, being defeated for the championship. by the eastern House of David team, 3 to 2, in 11 innings.This year the club has seven of last year's players, with, some new blood to add offensive strength.
