CHARLEY WHITE GETS PROMOTIONCharley White has been advanced from boxing instructor at Fort Sheridan to athletic director of the fort. The promotion 13 a reward for his strenuous work of less than two months. On June 14. when White went to Slieridan as boxing Instructor, baseball was practically the only athletic diversion of the soldiers. His boxing started a sport revival.
