East-West Diamond Clash At Comiskey Park Sept. 10Fans To Select Players From Teams In East And West For Game»lt;Baseball's biggest attraction has been scheduled for Comiskey Park on Sunday afternoon Sept. 10 when players from the East and West, selected by the fans themselves will meet In a game of games.’* which should go down In diamond history as the greatest achievement ever recorded.The game has the unqualified endorsement of the Negro National Association, and will find the best players that the East and the West can produce, pitted against each other on the diamond of Chicago's historic Park.Fans To Select Players Fans from every section of the country will be allowed to cast their votes for their favorite “All-East team and their choice for an “All-West selection.Votes will he received in the sporting department of two newspapers sponsoring the affair.The “All-East team will he selected from tfie Pittsburg Craw-fords, the Philadelphia Stars and the New York Black Yankees, together with the Baltimore Black Sox. while Tom Wilson’s colorful Nashville Elite (Bants, Jim Taylor's Detroit Club, The American Giants of Chicago and the famed Kansas City Monarchs will he the clubs from which the All-West selections are obtained.Capacity For alt;UMM) Comiskey Park, where the game will he staged, has a seating capacity of 50.000 people, ami the game..with all its many and varied colorful ramitlcatIons, should draw a record crowd.Thu game will be a double-header, in order that the fans will have an opportunity to see these players at tlielr individual and collective best. Uizz Mackey. Dick Lundy, Hap Dixon, Fats Jenkins. Joe Vancey. Satehell Paige. “Cool rapa Bell, Jake Stevens, Jud Wilson, Pete Washington. George Scales, Vic Harris and others too numerous to mention. And out in glowing West, where the greatest teams of other years have been developed, oue can’t forget the names of such immortals as Willie Foster, Turkey Stearns, C. J Young, Morney. Duncan, Newt Allen, Mule Suttles .etc. etc.
