We are informed that, although the articles are not yet signed, the race between Messrs. Maynard and Ged-dee is virtually made, the f 100 forfeit being up. The race will be for 1500, and will be run at this city, on September The agreement arrived at is that it shall be a running alert. Mncb interest ia manifested in thiscontest, and Mr. Geddes will bringwith him many ardent supportersfrom Rawlins. ^
