BATS ANNOUNCE REST OF GAMESWaterloo Cardinals Play Here Sunday; State Champs Booked.With a heavy schedule of strongteams lined up, the Mason City Batago into the last month of the seasonfacing the Waterloo Cardinals atthe fairgrounds Sunday afternoon.The two teams will meet each otherat Corwith, under the lights Sunday night, also. Manager Harry Dear-min announces an almost entirely new lineup for the Bats Sunday.Wednesday, Aug. 9, the Bata will play the Cubans at 5 o’clock at the fairgrounds. Sunday, Aug. 13, the Daniels team of Des Moines will face the Bats at the fairgrounds, and both teams will play each other at Hampton at night.Sunday, Aug. 20, the Bats will journey to Algona. Sunday night the local team will play Forest City under the lights at Corwith. On Aug. 27, the state champion Read-Iyn team is booked for a game here. Keadlyn features their pitcher, “Bullet” Bulgrene, who was the outstanding player in the state tournament.The season, will close on Sept. 7. when the Eastern House of David, featuring Grover Cleveland Alexander, will play the Bats at the fairgrounds in a night game. Ths Davids will bring their own lighting plant.
