Harsey surgeryWalt Hareey had minor surgery on hts right knre Thursday morning and will wear a brace (or about four weeks. Ills father Ken Harsey Said Thursday. According to the elder Harsey, Dr, Tom Haney of Tallahassee performed the surgery and reported that “nothing was torn, but there was some ligament damage, ■Harsey, who intends to walk on at Florida State University this fall in fuotball, is expected to he pul on a therapy schedule that will allow him to begin supervised exeroise wilhin two weeks. Ken Harney speculated that his son would not be able to resume running lor four weeks, but said Walt still intends to compete In football this season.The dnfltrr said that barring any complication Ho will he playing this year, Ken Harsey said.A standout at Mosley, Harsey was Injured In the recent North-South All-SUv high school fooloall game.
