HOUSE OF DAVID WINS OVER COLORED STARS 5-1Whitney Point, Aug. 2—Broome county fair patrons yesterday had two excellent baseball tilts served up to them. In the morning the Whitney Point team, leading in the Southern Tier Longue defeated Killawog ID to 3 and in the afternoon the House of David nine defeated Chappie Johnson's Colored Stars 5 to 1.The Point team proved too strong for the Killawogs in the morning contest and the heavy hitters of the home team while Sherwood kept the few hits allowed the visitors well scattered.Then* was plenty of good baso-bal! and comedy in the afternoon game as I he House of David’s bo-whiskered nine took the measure of Chappie Johnson's Colored Stars, 5-1
