M Woods, of Berkley, sister of the groom, played the wedding march and Miss I’atsv I or ay the. of Los Angeles, gave several violin numbers.The bride's gown was of old lace a family heirloom, which was also her mother's wedding gown. She carried a fan which her grandmother, Mrs. J R. VY’ert, carried on he; wedding day. The old-fashioned Idea was carried out further in quaint garden flowers for decorations.Only the immediate families werepresent at the ceremony, following which a luncheon was served.Mrs. Harsh man Is a graduate of Carrollton high school, Randolph-Macon Woman’s College, and pur-sued graduate work at Ohio State university and at the I’niverslty of California. She a member of the Sigma Kappa sorority and treasurer lt;f the I h Angeles Alumni Chapter of the organisation. She was for-v *merly Instructor of music at Ml*nerva grade and high schools and was director of the boys’ and girls’ glee cluhs. I-ater she was director of music in Carrollton public slt; hoolsMr. Harsh man, who i* also a former1 resident of Minerva, l.s fir*' pro-M»rtion engineer for the StandardOil Co. at El Segundo, Calif. He is a graduate of Carrollton hinh school and of the Cniversity of California. He was a captain during the World War.After th* luncheon, Mr. and Mrs Harshman left immediately for a motor trip through northern California. They will reside in l*o.s Ange* I les.
