John Reggerio piloted the 7-11 coupe to the top position a few laps after the first green was thrown. Reggerio had to contend with hard charging Datfe Alkas for a few laps. Then, while passing traffic, the two spun into the infield. Running third at the time, Gregor automatically Arouncf the eighty-lap Mark, Gregor and Don Moon were passing a 1 lapped car when Gregor nicked the car, spinning the both of them out. The lead again changed hands. This time it was Ronnie Van Nesse’s turn to lead. Van Nesse, who had won one feature this year at Plainville Stadium, had seen many troubles for the better part of the season. Bouchard, who hails from Fitchburg, Mass., took the coveted Enfield Press trophies, along with all the loot for the victory. In the Sportsman division, Tommy Casella narrowly nipped Gary Ryan.
