BASEBALL NIGHT FOR YOUNGSTERSThe Herald-American in cooperation with the Syracuse Chiefs is offering another bonus to all baseball-minded youngsters in the area.This newspaper will hold itssecond annual Youth Baseball Night Monday, Aug. 16 at MacArthur Stadium for a 11 youngsters participating in organized youth baseball leagues in Central New York.They’ll all be admitted free as guests of the Herald. The only requirement is that the boys attending be properly supervised and that two adults accompany each team and pay the regular general admission price of $1.75.A coupon will appear in this newspaper shortly and should be filled out and forwarded to the Chiefs* offices at MacArthur Stadium.In addition to the Chiefs’ regular International League clash with Rochester that evening, Max Patkin, the famed baseball clown, will appear as an added attraction.
