Many events are on the days proglram, including motorcycle tugs of war, pie races, get away races, and the big Motorcycle Hill Climb, to take place at2 p. m.The Fish Raven Motorcycle hill, located one block north and two blocks weBt of Fish Haven resort, has been placed in ideal condition for a motorcycle hill climb. Steep, rough, and a few Irrigation ditches thrown in for good measure pnoraiseB to furnish the spectatom and rideirs with not only a hill-climb hut a motorcycle rodeo as well. “When the riders unwind for the hill, exciting things are bound to' happen ” Deb Poole, one of the officials in charge of the event, announced today. “Fiah Haven Motorcycle Hill is one of the most dangerous hills in the intermountain territory, and we look forward to some real dare devil riding”, Mir. Poole added.An event of like nature was staged at the same hill last year, this climb being won by Ed Tish-er, who is out to win again this year, but in order to do so must beat some of the -best riders and most powerful motors ever brought into action in the intermountain territory. This climb will bring into action Dave Moore, the Ogden Skyrocket” and winner of the Tri state hill climb staged at El Manta hill. Georgs Fault-nar* 1530 Utch-Mabj Gypsy TourHill Climbing Champion, and Clarence Runsteadt, mounted on Wlhite Eagle”, the winner of all three events at the big July 4 hill climb on El Monte hill, are other riders who will compete for the' pot of gold that awaits the winner.
