Tier Two ClubsGet GuaranteeIn OntarioTORONTO (CP) - The MUi annual meeting of the Ontario Hockey Association passer! r resolution Saturday establishing a franchise agreement for OHA tier-two clubs.The franchise amendment is designed to guarantee the continuance of tier-two Junior A clubs and to protect the investments of the member teams.The meeting approved 30 amendments to the regulations and constitution of the OIIA.Returned to office by acclamation for a second term were Frank Doherty, Thorold, pres-i d e n t; Cliffe Phillips, Newmarket, first vice * president; Hugh McLean, London, second vice-president; Larry BelJislc, Penelanguishcne, third vice-president.Frank Buckland of Peterborough, a 20-year veteran on the executive was re-appointed for a further term as treasurer.Buckland, giving the treasurer's report, noted that in 1072 the OHA accumulated a record in revenue with receipts totalling over $139,000. Disbursements totalled over $122,000.Buckland and Jack Roxburgh of Simcoe, a former OHA and CAHA president, were unani mousty elected life members of the OHA.
