The eleven constituted !S a litter of young wolves which Mr. J. is and assistant dug out on the Jayne farm last Friday. The whelps were old ^ enough and large enough} to make a e lively lot, but the boys succeeded in d getting all of them. They’killed ten te of them, on which to secure bounty, J and kept one—presumably for seed. ir The old mother wolf was not “at e home” while her offspring were being r taken into captivity, but viewed the l| proceedings from a distant eminence.
