Four Of Cincinnati's Best Boxers WillTake Part In The Athletic CarnivalMay A—Biz Mackey Wants To ComeBut Wants Too Much Money.Prof. Gene Lutz, Harney Furey, An-ily and Gus Henezali, known as “The Pride of Cincinnati,” will be seen here at Jack Dougherty's athletic carnival. These four boxers are known the country over and have notified Doughertythat they would positively appear here on Wednesday night. May 4. Lutz is one of the best known physical directors in this country and is a very good tighter. Harney Furey, who has met every man of his weight in this country, is a comer and is fast going after the championship. Perhaps no one is blt; tter known in the sporting world than the Benezah boys. Thereare four of them and every one is a first-class boxer.Still Another.Dougherty received a letter Friday morning from Con Riley, manager of Hiz Mackey. the champion of tlits state. Riley would like to get his man a match here, but will not come unless a purse of $200 is put up. Of course, this is too high and in all probability Mackey will not be seen aere. This is an example of some of the interest that is being taken in the tournament. People from all over tho state are inquiring about the tournament. Great crowds from Baton, Dayton, Camden and Middletown aro expected here and many aro now or-dering tickets.
