OHA Favors UppingJunior Age LimitTORONTO (CP)—The Ontario hockey association Saturday went lt;on record as favoring a higher age ■lt; limit for junior A hockey players in Canada. iAbout 120 delegates, represent-ing53 hockey clubs throughout the 2 province, voted in favor of raising the age limit from 20 to 21, at the association’s 63rd annual convcn- 1 tion.Past president Jack Roxburgh of ' Simcoe will carry the OHA vote 1 to the CAHA annual meeting in 1 June.The association also passed an amendment to the regulations which, Roxburgh said, will cut ; down the number of protests lodged with the OHA after league playoffs start.The amendment said, in effect, no team will be permitted to protest eligibility of a player, based on residence qualifications, after Feb.10 each season. Only players signed , subsequent to Feb. 1 would be subject to protest.The OHA voted two former past presidents to life memberships in the association, treasurer George S. Dudley of Midland who missed his first meeting in 34 years because of iilness, and James Douglas of Brantford.
