Burley had attempted to arrange a date with a Pocatello club, while Kimberly had Shoshone scheduled for the Kimberly field.In the Sunday tilt at Burley, the Cassia organization, working as a player-owned affair, will present veterans that have been representing that city for several years. Fred Judevine and Bud Cloyes, both regular members of the club, are the co-managers. Others on the roster Include Wally Holmgren, who will hold down the Initial sack; Earl Williams at set on d; Cloyes at short, and Paul Callis at third, along with Henry Schodde as a utility infielder.In the outfield will be Fred Judevine, Raoul Parish, Bob Detmers and Dale Parish. Paul Pate will carry the brunt of the catching. Young Harold Vaught of Heybum will work on the mound, along with Callis and Detmers, both veteran twirl-ers.The Kimberly club, which has been working out steadily for three weeks, will have the veteran Moon Shepard on the mound, and Southpaw Virgil Mintun as the No. 2 hurler. Mintun, a star high school athlete, played with the Fort Douglas army team last season and had considerable success.In the infield will be old Charley Mintun, Virgil Mlntun's dad, but still as spry as a youngster, at first base; Gail Green at second, Kenneth Snelson at third and Carlos Livingstone at shortstop.
