The Oak Park orchestra gave a very fine entertainment Tuesday evening, and succeeded in bringing out one of the largest crowds of the season. The younger set danced afterward, as well as possible with a number of chairs in the room. Altogether it was one of the star entertainments of the year, and Chairman C. H. Wells of the entertainment committee can feel proud of his administration. His many friends certainly feel gratified on his account. There is a probability of some baso-ball after all. The Northwestern University may play on Decoration day, and the Columbia Giants have secured June 16 and 23 for gaAes with the Nebraska Indians and Cuban Giants, all colored teams. These games should draw well, as the darkeys are always a great attraction, and baseball is going to be a scarce article in Oak ,Pprk this season. We are sorry to hear rumors to the effect that Mr. Skillen has declined renomination to the presidency of the club, and hope the rumor may prove false.
