Area grid devotees who want to see a national champion collegiate football team in action might consider taking in an intrasquad spring game at Triton Junior College in River Grove this coming Saturday afternoon involving the Blue-White teams from Eastern Illinois University which last fall won the NCAA II national title. Proceeds of the game, which will start at 1 o’clock, will go to the Triton College Football Club.Among those expected to see action is Mike Cox, , 6 3, 190 pound junior linebacker who did his high school playing for Mel Lloyd at Prosser and who for two years after that was a standout for Ernie Wiekstrom at Wright Junior College.
