It took the All Stars 13 innings to wrestle out a 9-7 win over the stubborn Defenders in a Sunday alter noon game at Boerne.Freddie Paul Adams started on the mound for the All Stars, but was relieved in the opening inning by Cranston Shaw, who worked the rest of the game to gain credit for the win.The All Stars, who banged out a 20-hit attack, were paced by Lionel Jefferson and Junior Nesby, with each collecting three hits.The win evened the All Stars’ won-lost record at 2-2 for the season.
