Rhinelander’s new North side park was named “Mary Didier Memorial park’” in memory of Mrs. Mary Didier, wife of Councilman John Didier, who passed away about a year ago. it was decided at a meeting1 of the City Council in the City hall Monday night of this week.A resolution, naming the park ‘‘in recognition of the high esteem that residents of the vicinity hold for the late Mrs. Didier”, was introduced by Councilman S. J. Gwidt and adopted by the votes of President Robert Craig and Councilmen A. C. Danielson, Fred Anderle and S. J. Gwidt.Councilman Didier did not vote on the resolution. Action followed presentation of the following letter:“To the honorable members of the ^City council and to our esteemed CityMnanager:“The North side park committee expresses its sincere gifctiCude for the many courtesies, for the splendid cooperation, and the aid tendered during the purchase of the so-called'Collins property’ for city park purposes.“We gratefully acknowledge the service rendered by the committee of businessmen, whose estimable advicegreatly furthered our cause; the pain, taking care rendered by our City attorney, Mr. Korth, whose labor has protected and made secure our pur-1 chase; and the right attitude of mind j and spirit of good will toward a park , on the North side that was so gener-J ously promoted by The Rhinelander!
