THE EXPONENTPAGE 10TUESDAY, APRIL 24,201:Team Parkland wins Director’s Cup in RoblinOn the weekend of April 6-8 team Parkland participated in the 2012 Director’s Cup Tournament held in Roblin, Manitoba. The Director's Cup brings together the best minor Bantam (1998 bom) hockey players in the province to compete at an elite level against their peers. Parkland started their weekend off playing Brandon early Friday morning coming up with a 5-2 win. Saturday morning saw them lose 6-5 in a shoot out to Interlake. After finishing their round robin play the teams were then regrouped. Saturday night they came up against Pembina Valley coming out strong and securing a 4-1 victory. Team Parkland concluded the weekend on Sunday coming upwith a 4-3 win over Westman South. It was afull weekend of good com- thanks to the coaches: petitive hockey.
