C., practically the same organization that promoted the Joe Gans-Battling Nelson fight two years ago.The telegram is as follows:Will you fight Joe Gans here on July 4, 45 rounds, for a purse of $20,-000.”Harry Gilmore, jr., manager of Mc-Tarlahd, received the telegram nnd answered in this wise:“Want Nelson first. Would consider him under the same terms. Can get Gans later, probably Labor day.”
