The larger is 2,500 yards in circuit, while the . other has a playing distance of 1,800 yards. Golf interest has grown rapidly in Milwaukee, and efforts have been made for over a year to secure a public course.The Cornell golfers are making an effort to revive interest in golf in the university, and a meeting has been called to reorganize the Cornell Golf Club. A tournament is planned for next month, and a number of the Faculty will take part, including, it is said. President Schurman, who is an enthusiastic golfer, when he can spare the time.
