sIntroduction of Grayling. — The West of IScotland Angling Club some time ago put a large number of grayling into the Clyde at Abingdon. Although several of these have been seen from time to time, and apparently in a healthy condition, there are gTeat doubts of ‘their having spawned, no young fish having been observed. To remedv this, and give the introduction of this fine and game fish a fair chance, the West of Scotland Angling Club have*re-centJy dcpolt;Uod 20,000 ova. brought from England, in a properly constructed hatching pond at Abington.
