To others it will be the manly art of self defense, a sport handed down through the ages that demonstrates both strength, skill and physical conditioning.To Duane and Rodney Bobick, Bowlus, and Scott LeDoux, Crosby-Ironton, it is “business” for which they are paid money, and which holds out the golden hand of promise in whose palm lies fame and fortune.Rodney will fight Scott and Duane will take on tough Raul Gorsito from Argentina.Yesterday the four of them were the objects of attention at a press conference held at the Hyatt House in Minneapolis, headquarters for the moment for Rochester’s Ben Sternberg who is promoting tonight’s card at the Metropolitan Sports Center.Oh yes, there was a fifth man who commanded attention at the press conference. He is Smokin’ Joe Frazier, the ex-champion who is impatiently waiting for another crack at a man he still calls Cassius Clay.Smokin’ Joe came in late for the press conference — on purpose, by the way, so that his protege, Duane Bobick, could get full attention.The press conference was something else.
