Sharpe got two infield hits, Stevens a single and Evans a double. Bus Linville, star slugger of last year’s team, has signed with the House of David professional touring team, and will be lost for most of the season.The Merchants will play here again next Sunday, with the Alexandria (Ind.) Red Men scheduled for the attraction.
