Each team had just one earned run.I Sports.Tech right-hander Bill St. Clair went the route, hurling a four hitter and striking out seven. He had a couple of control lapses that got him in hot water, but good clutch pitching and good support pulled him IhrouglhThree Taconic moundsmen gave up just five hits and two walks to Tech while fanning eight. Junior right-hander Gary Wilker started and went seven innings. He gave up four hits, the I wo bases on balls and the two runs, one of which was unearned. He struck out seven. Tom Boutb and Gary Quadrozzi each worked an inning. Beuth threw hitless ball and struck out one. Quadrozzi gave up one hit. St. Clair and Wilker each hit a 'batter.play ended the inning.Bouchard was the only player in the game with more. Ilian one hit. He singled up the middle to open the sixth inning, but was picked off first. Tomchick’s double was the only extra-base blow.The win gives Tech a 2-2 season record. The Tigers are 1*0 in the Springfield Interschool League. They are playing Lee High this afternoon at Forest Park, Springfield, in a 2 o’clock game.Tech took a 1-0 lead in the fourth inning. Leadoff man Ted Bouchard started things off with an infield hit, the first safely off Wilker. Wilker got the next two baiters on a called third strike and a ground ball back to the box, but he walked Paul Santan-iello.Santanielto never stopped at first, but took the turn and headed for second. He got himself hung up and Bouchard, who had gone over to third on a stolen base and the infield out, streaked for home, beating the throw to the plate by sliding under the tag.The Tigers made it 2-0 in the seventh. With one out, Dennis Cerez singled and Rich Tom-chick doubled inside (he right field foul line, sending Cerez to third. Jim Bedard was hit by a pitch, loading the bases. On an attempted squeeze, Dave Kelleh-er bunted in front of the plate. Catcher Joe Langdon pouncedon the ball and stepped on home for the force. His throw to first to get the double play was a little high and got away from second baseman Don Troy and Tom chick came all the way home from second.
