' ' • * ’ • • • . r ■ • , _ . « . «San Francisco, Cal., April 21.— Startling discoveries are ma in connection with the McGoy-Choynpki twenty-round fight. 1 was learned from a person who knows the Choynski family well that the fighter was o it ofhis mind for two days after his battle and that both he and his relatives were convinced afterward that he had* * • « m s *m ' tbeen drugged. It it said that Joe accuses one who was supposed to be his bosom friend of double- ealing. The story was whispered aroundafter he fight among a certain fev people, but Choynski succeeded in having it suppressed, as he foresawthat a “holier” after defeat would not look well. The yarn gained publicity to day however, and it has caused a big commotion among'followers of the pugillstio game. '»Just ^hat part MoCoy f layed in the alleged plot o whether he played any at all is not known. Circumstance in onnection with the fight are a bit peculiar!
