Lizton, North Salem, and Brownsburg have had the strongest track, teams of the county in 'recent years but each time Brownsburg has managed to be at the, top when the final scores were counted. .This year North Salem and Lizton look stronger and the latter is picked by many to win the meet. At any rate, they will not be far down the list, if they do not finish first. -North Salem again has Trotter, the best high, school miler in 'the state. It is sure to count on ten points for him in the 880 and mile runs. Kirtley, of Lizton, looks like a sure winner in the 220 and century' runs this year. R. Ratliff, winner of\ the high jump and pole vault events last year in the public school meets is expected to show up well and finish--in the points. C. Ratliff is again entered in the weight events! Although Brownsburg does not have a Metcalf this year to count on for .first.place in broad jump and the discus throw, they'are sure to show up well in all events especially in the hurdles. Amo, Clayton, and Plainfield Academy always come in for their share of the points and may upset the dope, bucket on the big day.Track candidates of, D. !H.
