IOWA PGA REJECTS NEBRASKA REQUEST FOR AIDDea Moines—(A)—Members of the Iowa section of the Professional Golfers Association held i their spring: meeting: here Monday. The group, which has 27 members, turned down a proposal by Bill Schuchart, Omaha pro, that Iowa transfer a slice of its western territory to Nebraska.Schuchart said Nebraska is hard-pressed to maintain a 15-member limit required for a PGA section. Iowa, however, wanta to increase its roster to 30 so it may qualify two men for the National PGA meet.
