!fourcindermarksinJFKThe Hubbard track team of Tony Carsone led by senior John Marshall and two crack teams handling the 880 yard relay and mile relay events, had little trouble with visiting Warren J.F.K. last Thursday afternoon, winning a 79-48 victory.The 22 foot 2 inch mark established by Marshall is the bestrecorded m the area to date, andalso shattered his own record set last year.added the 120 low hurdles to his winning side.Stanovich, a junior, broke the tape first in the 880 yard run, while Marshall tied the schoolmark of 23.1 in the 220.Frank Saccomen won the discus throw with a heave of 124feet 8 inches while he and BillDriscoll added second and third places in the shot.Howard Faison claimed two more firsts for his teammates as he went over the high jump standard at 3 foot 8 inches and won the pole vault event with a| crossing of 12 feet even. He alslt; finished second in the long jump For the Eagles it was theii third event and second victory.Thursday evening at the Hub bard football field they entertairFitch and Brookfield in a triangular meet. Starting time is 4 00The two relay teams also established new marks as the 880 squad consisting of Jerry Marsu-skin. Bill Sarisky, Dick Watkins and Marshall set the pace at1:34 2Tn the mile event, run by Marsukin.
