Kelchner, one of the foremost scouts in the St. Louis system, will be on hand to helpplanning to stop here for at least a day.Word- is being awaited daily from the National League management announcing the appointment of a manager for the Scottdale entry in the Middle Atlantic race which will be inaugurated early in May. It is likely that the selection will be made later this week.With the opening of the training period a matter of days, the ground crew is putting the field into shape- The bleachers have been moved and all of the fence repaired. The infield as well as the outfield is being rolled to smooth the turf that was abused by. football players last fall.
