There is talk of abase ball club for Algona again this year. At a meeting at the Durdall the other evening a committee was appointed to see what could be done towards organizing a club. The idea is to form a stock company of ten members, each putting in $50, and hire the best players to be had. Grubb, Algona’s catcher last year, is hereyand also “Doggy,” the colored pitcher, who was with the Waseca club last year.
