I agree that horse racing would be a big boon to Minnesota. As far as the pari mutuel betting is concerned no one is forced to bet. If it would help the tax structure, I say let’s give it a try. I can remember as a youngster over at Crookston all the fun we used to have at the fairgrounds during the racing season. Bet Elmer Marin’s race track south of town will be busy if racing makes a comeback.
