Claude C. Robinson. Winnipeg, chairman of the finance i committee, placed before the meeting several suggestions that had been 'referred to his committee and .had been. reported on- favorably, were unanimously passed by the delegates. Each branch was entitled to two delegates, but .some had been granted f expenses for one delegate only to f annual meetings. In future eacn ! branch will be allowed expenses for two delegates.No- grants will be made for inter-“mediate play-downs next year, but the grant to each branch will be Increased from $500 to -$700, the extra $200 to be U3ed as the branch sees ftt in aiding the younger, hockey organizations. This grant remains in force for three years.One of the pleasing functions of the meeting was the presentation of past president's medals to J. W, Hamilton. Regina; W. A. Pry, of Dunville:Sheriff Plaxton and Capt. J. T; .Sutherland. Medals also were taken on behalf of Silver” Qullty. Ottawa; Dr. F. E. Sndercock, Calgary; Dr. W. P.’ Taylor. Winnipeg;’ Toby Sex-smith, Portage la Prnlrle, and H. J. Sterling, of Edmonton.
