visiting relatives in town the past week.The trophy cups for the Pemetic Ice Yacht club are on exhibition in John Heberts* window. The smaller one is for the single race and has the name of the win* ning yacht Beagle and her owner, E. Leander Higgins, engraved on it. The larger is for a three years championship. On that too, is the name of the Beagle and her owner. The Beagle covered herself and her owner with glory last winter under the skillful management of John Roberts, who sailed her. The Beagle was built by Mr. Ambrose Higgins, and was a present to Leander from his father and mother.
