SiKMA.NTEf.~In this city, on Wednesday, April 4th, 1878, of consumption, John A. Siemantel, son of Simon and Barbara Siemantel, in the 25 th year of his age. The funeral took place from St. John’s Lutheran Church on Thursday last, at 2 o’clock P. M. Services by Rev. George Ilunkei. The remains were deposited in the public vault at Riyer View Cemetery.Johnson—At La Plata, Macon county, Mo., Mrs. Hadassah Johnson, wife of Rev. William Johnson, formerly of this city.Mr. Johnson was a former resident of this city, and was at one time pastor of the Baptist Church here, and moved from hereto Ghent, Ky., about 23 years ago, where he was pastor of the church at that place until a few years smc, when he moved to Missouri.
