•The Scrabble tournament, held at the Stump this past week resulted in four members being awarded recognition for their prowess at the game. Brothers Frank Moore, Ray Kearns, Wally Howe, and Warner Paige emerged at the top of the contestant list. A play-off involving these four was proposed, but the sports committee failed to approve the suggestion. No reason was given.
