Base Ball.All our boys will be here tomorrowand the old favorite, Jim Sharp,will bewith them, and will be found playing jsecond base for our club this year allreports to the contrary.Thos. Quinlan is grading thegrounds, and says they will be in elegant shape for the opening games.The chairs have arrived for the new grand stand and will be a welcome addition. Cushions will be on sale and nobody will want for a soft seat.Cedar Rapids has signed a strong team for the Inter-State League. Ifshej comes into our league with the same team, they will have a strong one sure.Cur boys will have elegant new* uni forms of gray and black, just like the uniforms the Chieagos wrore whenthey wTere here last fall.Frank B. Clark, secretary of our as- j sociation, went to Chicago last night to attend the meeting to arrange the schedule for the coming season. While there he will select new' uniforms for the club. Dubuque, Ctdarltapids, Monmouth, Aurora, Ottawa,Elgin and Joliet will all be strongly represented at the meeting, but we guess Frank can hold his own with them.Everybody should remember theexhibition games with Burlington *21-22.
