s Mur-Lee’s Baseball ClubThe Mur - Lee's Baseball Club of Lynbrook will hold open tryouts for all positions at Grois Park, Lynbrook on April 19th and* 26th at 11:30 a.m. ’ Last year, Mur - Lee’s were Long Island and Metro - New York Champions in the Stan Musial Division of the Amateur Baseball Association. The team played 72 games last year, winning 58 and losing 14. Alumni of the Mur - Lee’s include Ron Klimkowski of the New York Yankees, A1 Severinsen of the Baltimore Orioles, Ricky Schwartz of Waterbury, a Cleveland Double A affiliate and Ken Beebe of Tulsa, a Cardinal affiliate.^ Mur - Lee’s are very proud of the calibre of young men that have played with the team through i£§ years of existence. Numbered among these are college coaches, high school coaches, athletic directors, attorneys, recreation directors, teachers, engineers and many other professions.Young men with high school, college, professional or semi-professional experience are urged to tryout.
