Lady Huskerssweep KearneyAnita Bahe’s long fly to center with the bases loaded and one out in the bottom of the seventh inning scored Peggy Conradt with the winning run as the Nebraska women’s softball team defeated Kearney State 3-2 in the second game Thursday to gain a sweep of their doubleheader.Kris Hermanson had two hits in two at bats and scored once to lead Nebraska to a 2-1 win in the opener. Barb Colvert tallied the other Husker score in a two-run fifth after Kearney had taken a 1-0 lead.After Kearney State took a 2-0 lead in the nightcap, the Huskers tallied single runs in the fifth and sixth.Nebraska, now 3-2, will visit Kearney State for a Tuesday doubleheader.
