Grover Cleveland Alexander, major league’s bad boy pitcher for several seasons and a world series hero with the St. Louis Cards in 1926, has now signed up to manage the House of David baseball club. Manager Hose may therefore be able to bring Alexander here for. a game this summer. Alexander is growing a beard, which seems to be about the only requisite to join the Davids.
