Grover Cleveland Alexander, former major league pitcher, was today Appointed manager of the House of David team In training here. Roy L. Dean, former playing manager, will devote his time to the bu*l-r£cs details of the club.Alexander said today he was In good shape, and that he will take his regular turn on the mound.The House of David team will leave soon for a tour through Tex-as League Citita and other leagues.Alexander him no beard, but- $nld he would probably grow one.
