UP)—'The heavyweight championship bout between Max Schmellng and Young Stribling looked in the bag for Cleveland Friday.Emil Wetten, legal representative of the Madison Square Garden corporation of Illinois, and Joe Jacobs, manager of the German tltleholder, were in Chicago Friday with the announced intention of obtaining the corporation's signature to a Cleveland contract. William E. Carey of the Madison Square garden was in New York after declaring Cleveland was virtually assured of the match.The three said formal announcement of Cleveland's selection would be made as soon as minor differences over the rental of the municipal stadium and other terms could be straightened out.Trte bout, 15 rounds, will be held July 3.
