Doan, manager of the fa inous House of David baseball team, haw asked Manager Prejean of the Pioneers for a game with the Pioneers here, and Prejean has wired him to name the date, it wasannounced today.Doan’s letter states that Grover Cleveland Alexander, former worldseries hero, is his pitching ace. The team, famous for its bearded players and their baseball ability, travels in six trucks which carry all players and equipment, including a $30,000 00 lighting plant, according to the Doan letter which was dated at Mineral Wells. Prejean is anxious to meet theDavid boys in Kingsville’s ffrstnight garne as coon as arrangements can be made.
